GREECE MOURNS HUNDRED OF DEATHS AS CLIMATE CHANGES
There’s no much time left for humanity to act quickly and stop climate change. In Greece we already see the first signs of global warming with wildfires in summertime and massive floods in wintertime. This year Greek people mourns hundreds of deaths from floods in Mandra and wildfires in Mati both suburbs in Attiki region and very close to Athens centre. In Lefkada it was the first time after many years with thunderstorms and low temperatures in June !! Now it’s about time to think about the future of our planet more seriously. After all it’s our children’s future too. So, go environmental friendly everywhere and on your vacations too.
ABNORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURES IN NORTH EUROPE
In the summer of 2018 the Europeans see the first effects of planet’s overpopulation, fossil fuels use, plastics overuse and meat overconsumption. North Europe in particular experienced for a long period of July 2018 abnormal high temperatures. More specifically in UK the temperature reached up to 38 degrees Celsius and in Sweden over 30 degrees in the evening resulting in wildfires in the country !! On the other hand in southeast Europe the summer is cooler with some incredible tropical storms to appear suddenly !!
ACT NOW INDIVIDUALLY
Everyone of us should act now and start changing habits. By using less time our cars, changing our house lightbulbs to economic ones, thermal insulating our houses, using less plastic and of course by recycling we may start reducing our CO2 emissions on planet. At least we could delay the climate change and build up a better environmental future for next generation. It’s up to us to stop being selfish and act for the common good. Otherwise we have to follow Stephen Hawking’s idea and start preparing to abandon the planet in one hundred years from now.

Relax yourself by stop using cars, mobiles, laptops and enjoy the picturesque sunsets of this magnificent beach from our seafront balconies.
