How to Get to Avali Beach
Avali beach is on the wild west coast of Lefkada. For this reason, do not visit the beach on a windy day. In particular, it’s one of the three beautiful beaches of Kalamitsi village. Starting from the village the road descends to the beaches of Kavalikefta, Megali Petra and Avali. All of them are amazing beaches but Avali is not so popular and crowded. In the middle of the way down there is a fork to the right that leads to Avali beach. A picturesque small canteen and a parking lot at the end of the road are the only signs of commercial exploitation.
